Visitors Policy

Visitors Policy

We welcome and encourage all parents to visit the school at anytime.  Procedures that we wish to have followed for the benefit and safety of students and the learning environment are:

  • Always check in at the reception desk or office and receive a visitor's pass.
  • When entering the classroom as a visitor, you are to sit in the back of the room or a place designated by the teacher in the capacity of an observer only. Please do not disturb the learning environment by engaging in activity or conversation with the teacher or children.
  • During a transition time in the classroom, please introduce yourself to the teacher.
  • If you wish to participate with the students and their activities you need to take the steps to become a volunteer by filling out the appropriate forms, be approved and schedule times with the classroom teacher to help out the learning environment.
